Adventure is in our blood
Restaurateurs, chefs, and co-owners Ian and Heather Beckman will be bringing a combined total of 50 years of food and hospitality to Silverthorne, CO. The team began their partnership in marriage back in Wisconsin, in 2003 and 17 years later they are still doing what they love, creating food and creating memories. Right after Heather graduated from Culinary school and the couple got married, the team set their sights on working, traveling and experiencing other cultures along with local cuisines. The Beckman’s let go of everything they had and landed on the island of Kos, Greece. For 3 years, Heather and Ian were lucky to work together each season and then take some well deserved vacations to Egypt, England, Italy and Turkey.
After too many years away from family and friends but still loving the island life the couple landed on St. John, USVI. They spent another two years working on their craft at a famous island restaurant managing, serving, bookkeeping and making all kinds of island desserts. Eventually they wanted to make their own family, the mountains called and they set up shop in Fort Collins, CO. After creating 2 beautiful kiddos, partnering with a local breakfast joint to own and run another well established restaurant in downtown Fort Collins, the need to have their own establishment called them to Silverthorne, CO. The chef’s travels have built their culinary appetite and they are excited to bring all their experiences and knowledge to our wonderful diverse and well traveled community. When they are not working the couple is always outside all year round, hiking, biking, and if they can sneak in a round of golf, even better. Their kiddos, Athena, and Orion are always along for the ride, hike, or swim.
